Rolling hills, fields, vast horticultural displays of locally grown plants and fresh country air are all part of the experience of visiting Fahr Greenhouse.
Since Dorothy and Leonard Fahr founded Fahr Greenhouse in 1950, the property has a long tradition of hosting parties with good friends, family, flowers and food. In recent years, we started opening our doors and inviting our customers and guests to experience the magic at Fahrs.
We have two upcoming events.
On December 1 and December 2, 2018 Fahr Greenhouse is hosting an event, “The Poinsettia Express.”
On November 28, 2018, 5 – 9:00 p.m. we are hosting an event, “After Hours”.
At The Poinsettia Express visitors will have the opportunity to see our breathtaking horticultural display of our crop of twelve thousand poinsettias along with holiday activities.
“The Poinsettia Express Weekend Edition”. Open boarding all day! 10am till 4pm on Saturday, 11am till 4pm on Sunday. Admission is $6 per person (Children 2 years old and under are free).
Includes cocoa and treats aboard The Poinsettia Express, a visit and pictures with Santa, children’s crafts, face painting, and model train displays.
Our Garden Center will be open. Choose from twelve thousand poinsettias grown here at Fahr’s!
There will be fresh holiday arrangements and many Christmas décor items for purchase. Enjoy guided tours of our greenhouses all day long!
All festivities are held indoors where it is warm and dry. Parking is free.

December 1, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
December 2, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
November 28, is our After Hours event.
5pm to 8pm
